Hi there! I’m Joshua Shoemaker, a musician and educator holding an M.A. in Bible & Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary and holding a B.A. in Music with a Vocal Performance Concentrate from Calvin College. I love teaching voice and piano, preparing students for recitals, and shaping worship through thoughtful music selection and leadership in church settings.
In my work with Calvin Theological Seminary, The Piano Cottage, and St. Paul Lutheran Church, I combine faith, music, and education to support students, congregations, and communities. I’m skilled at arranging and composing, coordinating ensembles, and using technology to enhance worship and learning, all grounded in a collaborative, friendly approach.
