What is complicity? Complicity is mutual understanding, an unspoken connection where a glance or gesture says it all. When thinking about «black» and «shiny,» we were inspired by the Moon and the Sun - partners in light. Though they illuminate at different times, they share the sky in perfect harmony. Even as lunar eclipses come and go, the Sun and Moon remain in sync. Our lamp, Éclat («Shine»), embodies this relationship. Shaped like the Moon, it lights up when opened, symbolizing the simplicity, elegance, and poetry of these two celestial companions that brighten our world. designer artdirector

uniE621 Gem Knight - Red Jasper
Crystals have always fascinated me, bringing joy, mystery, and a sense of magic into my life. I’ve long been drawn to mythology and legends from cultures around the world - each with their own symbols, heroes, and untold stories. This is how « Gem Knights » was born: a family of gemstones, each brought to life as a unique warrior. This series unites my love for storytelling and esotericism, transforming the spiritual and emotional properties of each stone into distinct characters. Every Gem Knight embodies the essence of their crystal, each with a unique presence, strength, and purpose. Their forms are as diverse as we are - ranging in body types, skin tones, and textures, across all genders and identities. The geometric frames surrounding them mirror the crystalline structures they are based on: for instance, Red Jasper, a stone of energy and determination, is framed with sharp, angular edges, reflecting its fiery and dynamic nature. In contrast, Rose Quartz, the stone of love, would be enclosed in soft, flowing curves, mirroring its gentle essence. The one I submit is Red Jasper. Fiery and unyielding, Red Jasper surges with strength and endurance. Known as the warrior’s stone, she fuels resilience, courage, and fearless heart. Her presence commands attention, with her blade steady and her gaze unwavering. Fierce, determined… and stubborn, she thrives in the heat of battle. Her armor, inspired by Middle Eastern and Indian medieval warriors, reflects her heritage of strength and resilience. She symbolises the raw power of the fire. A protector, a fighter, a relentless force: Red Jasper never backs down. Approach her with respect, and don’t even think about making joke on her! illustrator designer mythology magic
uniE621 Hanae Kami - fictive album cover
A fictive vinyl coverI designed for a project at TBWANEBOKO for a Odido campaign. The topic or music style was free, so I imagined a cover for a Japanese singer called Hanae Kami. "Kami" means "Soul" in Japanese, because this maverick singer is self-confident and not afraid to show who she is. She's a creative and badass soul! I got inspired by J-pop and lofi hip-hop music, but also by anime and one of my fav music bands like Yoasobi, for a cheerful and positive result. music vinyl lofi jpop colors yoasobi anime illustration artist drawing badass womenempowerment empowerment feminism asianwomen asianandproud japan creativewomen womenwhodraw jpopmusic
    uniE621 T-Mobile MultiSim
T-Mobile has become the first telecom provider in the Netherlands to introduce Multisim, a service that allows T-Mobile customers with Apple Watch cellular models to make calls and access the internet via 4G, even without their smartphone. To showcase the versatility of this new feature in everyday life, we were tasked with creating illustrations depicting various scenarios: a runner, a shopper, a festival-goer, and a tech lover. The final result features a series of characters, dynamically exaggerated with a wide-angle perspective to enhance movement, complemented by a bold color palette that incorporates T-Mobile’s signature magenta. The illustrations also emphasize diversity and inclusivity, showcasing people of different genders and skin tones. uniE621 Rebirth
"Rebirth" is a reflection about inner peace and self-acceptance. It represents the moment of opening up, embracing vulnerability, and allowing yourself to be seen. For a long time, I've been afraid to speak up for myself, to express what I truly want. Past experiences taught me that when I did, people would get angry or push me away. Setting boundaries and saying "No" has never been easy. But I've learned that opening your heart is worth it. The people who truly care about you will understand and support you. These aren't tears of sadness, but tears of relief: relief from finally expressing my true self, my boundaries, and my fears. This piece is about embracing your invisible wounds, acknowledging your fears, and working through them instead of hiding them. In Dutch, there's a saying that means "show your true colors." It perfectly captures what I've been going through in the past few months. It's not easy to be gentle with yourself, but you deserve to be heard. Trust your instincts, stand up for what you believe in, and know that you're amazing just as you are. uniE621 The Hierophant - Tarot card for CLBHUIS, the Visionary tarot deck
Created for CLBHUIS, a creative community in Amsterdam, where each artist reinterpreted a card of the tarot card for this collaborative project, I've been assigned to design The Hierophant. A symbol of wisdom, guidance, and transmission of knowledge. My version draws inspiration from Egyptian mythology, especially Toth, the ibis-headed God of wisdom, writing, and the moon. He represents mentorship and the bridge between the spiritual and creative realms; Floating bubbles represent artistic mediums, passed on to reached hands below - a metaphor of sharing inspiration within a creative community. The visual style blends Middle eastern tapestry patterns with mystical elements inspired by the manga Cardcaptor Sakura, merging tradition with whimsical, modern and vibrant fantasy. uniE621 The Social Hub x Tony's Chocolonely
To celebrate B-Corp Month, The Social Hub partnered with Tony’s Chocolonely for a special “Food for Thought” dinner through a unique chocolate-infused culinary experience, celebrating sustainability and impact. I was commissioned to design a custom chocolate bar illustration reflecting the event’s theme: “Raising the bar for a better society, one bite at a time.” My artwork features a joyful character riding a space rocket shaped like Earth, symbolizing optimism and forward-thinking change. I combined The Social Hub’s bold identity with my signature vibrant and cheerful style. The illustration was applied to chocolate bars, event posters, and menus, bringing a cohesive visual identity to the campaign. illustrator packagingdesign tonyschocolonely sustainability
    uniE621 Breast Cancer alphabet campaign
In October 2023, we launched a campaign for the Breast Cancer awareness month. Because in Netherlands, every year 17,000 women and 100 men get diagnosed with breast cancer, but most of them are younger than 50 years old. Then breast cancer is not top of mind. So they mostly get diagnosed at a later stage and too late to treat it on time. CONCEPT That’s why, to educate people knowing better their breasts and to spread awareness about breast cancer, we created a campaign in partnership with Alexander Monro Ziekenhuis and the Stitching Care Foundation. Everything was created from scratch and in-house, from illustrations of all the letters to the visual identity, print deliverables such as posters for waiting rooms, billboards, visuals for socials), and web design. The outcome is a design that's both playful and dynamic, with bold colour palette, while maintaining a mature tone so it doesn't look too childish; but without scaring people though. In the overall look and feel, inclusivity and diversity were also carefully considered. The Alphabet showcases a range of breasts, including those with piercings, tattoos, hair, stretch marks, various shapes... We aimed at showing an inclusive representation of all breasts, especially since people of color have more difficulty recognizing symptoms because of discriminations and data gaps in the medical field. This campaign has won 5 awards at the ADCN - The Dutch Creativity Awards Competition, in 3 categories dedicated to design: Design-Graphic (silver) Craft-Illustration and Typography (silver) Craft-Art Direction (silver) Advertising-Outdoors (bronze) Next-Impact (bronze) And also one Bronze Lion at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, in the Industry Craft category, for Art direction: Brand and Communication design.
