While I’m early in my professional career, I’ve had real industry exposure through my university capstone project with Gameloft, where I gained hands-on experience in 3D art production, time management, and team collaboration within a real studio pipeline.     uniE621 Game Project with Gameloft - Grandpa's Gallivants
    This was my university capstone project, where I worked with Gameloft over two semesters. Game Overview: Grandpa's Gallivants is a 3D PC platformer that takes place inside your adventuring Grandpa’s journal. You go on his quest to find the Violet Heart Diamond, jumping, climbing, and bouncing through a world made of pop-ups and travel mementos. Along the way, you collect diamonds and avoid snakes. Grandpa narrates your journey by reading his journal entries, giving helpful hints if you listen closely. Our team had four members: two designers, one programmer, and me as the sole artist. My role was to create the entire visual side of the game, including 3D models, 2D art, UI, animation, rigging, and character development. Being the only artist was challenging, but it helped me understand every part of the art pipeline and discover which areas I’m strongest in. The game was made in Unreal Engine, and I used Maya, Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, and other tools to create the visuals.     This project is about an eagle hunter girl and her eagle, inspired by nomadic cultures. I sculpted everything in Nomad, then used Maya for retopology, rigging, and animation.     This is the first character I ever created. She combines the traits of a spy with the quirky inspiration of a stick bug, forming a unique fantasy design from my imagination. For a first attempt, I’m proud of how she turned out. Through this project, I built a strong foundation in topology and texturing, which became my entry point into the 3D world. I really love this character. She was created using Maya and Substance Painter, and rendered in Autodesk Maya. The character is fully rigged and ready for animation.     3D frog character with an NPR hand-painted style. Fully made in Blender from modeling to the final pose, with no add-ons used. I created this character as a personal project to learn Blender after using Maya for two years. I didn’t use any external tools like Substance Painter or other add-ons.
