I’m best known for my crossover DYAD Jazz/Classical projects, featuring original compositions and inventive 3rd-stream arrangements. Lynn Bailey once described my playing as “a bit like Johnny Hodges on steroids.” Over the years I’ve written jazz fusion and new age pieces, founded Jersey Jingles, directed The Ridgewood Conservatory since 1998, and taught jazz studies and saxophone at Bemidji State University and Michigan State University, among other posts.
