I'm Masood Muhammad Haque, 34 years old, and a Muslim Pakistani-American guy raised in Chicago, but now based in LA. I speak Urdu and Hindi fluently, and can read Spanish and traditional Arabic aloud with the same complete competency. I'm a comedian, actor, director and nerd who studied Theatre at the University of Illinois in Urbana Champaign, before I spent a decade performing and directing comedy across Chicago. While there I primarily spent most of my time with the Second City, touring and performing on their behalf in the area and nationally. In addition to my time on stage, I also worked behind the scenes. I completed the Second City Directing Fellowship in 2020 and went on to direct multiple Bob Curry Showcases, which was a show in partnership with NBC Universal to uplift and highlight BIPOC and/or queer comics in the city that were on the rise each year. I also worked in that same capacity on their Resident E.T.C Stage show, The Best Decision You've Ever Made in the Summer and Fall of 2021 which ran until the Spring of 2022. And beyond my stage work, I've also been freelancing withing the gaming industry. I've been a cosplay model for Magic the Gathering, and worked with Idle Champions to bring my character Gazrick from the official Dungeons & Dragons sponsored stream Rivals of Waterdeep into their game. Since moving to LA in April of 2024, I've been working with more TTRPG production companies as a game consultant on multiple projects. Some of that work includes playtesting and advising on the award-winning Life is Strange: Two Moons Rising with Hunters Entertainment, as well as working with Darrington Press on Daggerheart for multiple projects, including a showcase with game designers Matthew Mercer and Spenser Stark on the mainstage of last year's GenCon.
