GOOD BOY — Original Film Score

I co-composed the original score for the Norwegian psychological thriller GOOD BOY, directed by Viljar Bøe.

A particularly rewarding part of the project was collaborating with my co-composer Isak Wingsternes. Isak is a deeply creative and generous musician, and our close collaboration allowed us to exchange ideas freely, challenge each other and develop a unified musical language for the film. Working together brought both personality and depth to the score, and I’m very proud of what we created.

The music follows the film’s gradual transformation from an uneasy relationship drama into a dark and disturbing psychological thriller, using restrained tension, unsettling textures and cinematic scoring.

GOOD BOY gained significant international attention, screening at genre festivals across Europe, North America and South America. The film won Best Film at Monsters Fantastic Film Festival and currently holds a 94% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Its international festival journey included Beyond Fest in the United States, Bergen International Film Festival, Fantasy Filmfest in Germany, Fantaspoa in Brazil and Octopus Film Festival in Poland.

EVILSIDE — Original Score for Finnish Crime Drama Series

I composed the original score for all six episodes of the Finnish crime drama series EVILSIDE (Korvessa kulkevi).

The music combines cinematic composition, electronic textures and sound-led production to reinforce the series’ isolated Nordic setting, emotional tension and suspenseful storytelling.

Before its release, EVILSIDE was selected for the international MIPDrama showcase in Cannes. Following its Finnish premiere, the series entered Ruutu’s most-watched list and went on to reach international audiences, including distribution through Prime Video in the Netherlands and Belgium, with further availability in markets including the United Kingdom and Brazil.

    NIGHTMARE — Original Film Score

I composed the original music for the Norwegian psychological horror feature NIGHTMARE, produced by Nordisk Film Production.

The score combines atmospheric textures, electronics and music-led sound design to support the film’s dreamlike psychological tension and unsettling horror elements.

The film had an extensive international festival run, with screenings including BFI London Film Festival, Sitges Film Festival, Göteborg Film Festival, Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival and Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival in South Korea.
