Reid Kerr College provided me with the best possible start into the Creative Industry - they allow their students to work on live briefs* within the classroom which gives real world experience and an introduction to working with clients. Within the two years I spent at the College, I learned flash animation, vector drawing, gained layout skills in desktop publishing, web design, how to experiment with mix media, as well as photography. It was a good mix of subjects which allowed me to experience variety within the course.     Game 34* is this amazing idea from The Brain Tumour Charity, a campaign that added gaming into the mix. The goal? Diversify those income streams and bring brain tumours to the forefront. Why 34, you ask? Well, that's the number of people hit with a brain tumour diagnosis every single day. My mission was to take the name 'Game 34' and come up with branding that embodies gamers from every corner of the gaming universe – PC, console, and streaming pros aged 18-45. The team gave me an open brief with free reign to push boundaries while keeping their bold red from the original charity branding.
