This project focuses on evaluating the performance of Great Grounds’ two social media posts created for the Daylight Savings campaign. The primary goal of the campaign was to increase audience engagement through strategic content and timing.
The analysis compares both posts based on impressions, engagement metrics, publishing time, tone, visual content, and use of hashtags. Post 1 achieved a higher reach (211,574 impressions) but significantly lower engagement (329 interactions), while Post 2 reached fewer people (117,261 impressions) yet generated substantially more engagement (1,913 interactions).
The findings suggest that content style and tone have a stronger impact on engagement than posting time alone. Post 2’s humorous and relaxed tone, inclusion of a relevant photo, and use of hashtags were key factors driving its success.
Recommendations:
Schedule posts during peak audience activity hours (e.g., around 8:00 AM).
Maintain a casual, engaging tone that resonates with the audience.
Incorporate descriptive visuals and relatable hashtags to boost interaction.
