‘Something Blue’
Kara wanted an original artworks to showcase her debut album ‘Something Blue’. We worked together closely on colour combinations and the general form of the image. Kara knew she wanted her vintage dulcimer included in the scene. The cover image was created using a reduction lino printing process on my A4 wooden printing press.
The album was published in 2023, and you can listen on Spotify.

Back in May 2025, Siobhan approached me to create this whisky map to go along with a talk she was presenting ‘Female Icons of Whisky’
The main idea was to create a visual of the River Spey and the distilleries involved in her dialogue. The idea being the whisky glasses would fit neatly within the curved font explaining each whisky.
I had the pleasure again of creating illustrations for Ashley at Glug Mag for their March 2026 publication.
The brief as always is widely left to my imagination - in a good way!
Ashley provides a general idea of what she imagines the layout will look like and I have a read of the actual article, picking out key points and ideas that could be made into visual.
In this article I used procreate to create the illustrations - using ‘riso’ style pens and very limited colour palette, keeping it with a printmaking feel.
