The Challenge

The original City of Vancouver municipal platform suffered from legacy architectural constraints, poor mobile responsiveness, and significant accessibility barriers for its 100k+ potential users. As a developer who designs, my goal was to transform a text-heavy, opaque dataset into a transparent, user-centric tool for monitoring transportation and sustainability targets.
The Solution

I orchestrated a comprehensive front-end overhaul, bridging high-fidelity Figma design systems with a performant React architecture. The core of the project involved replacing static reports with interactive ECharts dashboards that allow citizens to visualize real-time city indicators.
