I am a classically trained freelance trumpeter, educator, and recording artist based in New York City. Formerly served as principal trumpet for the Puerto Rico Concert Ballet Orchestra and the Puerto Rico Wind Symphony, and has performed as a soloist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, New World Symphony, Louisville Orchestra, and Britt Festival Orchestra. He regularly performs on Broadway in shows such as Moulin Rouge and Radio City’s The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. A Puerto Rico native, Raul is lead vocalist and trumpet player with People of Earth, La Plena del Puente, and regular performs with the top latin music ensembles in New York City. Recently, concluded on a documentary soon to release on Amazon Prime called "Por Los 100" a documentary about eight olders from Puerto Rico older than 100 years old, and I wrote the music for eight of the elders but when they were children.
