Hello Humans of Twine. I’m Cassidy Shear. I’m from South Africa. I do music because my folks did music so I grew up thinking I was going to be a superstar like Susan Boyle or Shaggy but then most of my fam died so I became a foster kid and began wanting to walk the straight and narrow like maybe become an accountant like Quentin Tarantino but soon realised that I suck at everything other than writing songs and I’d never be able to let go of my passion for music. My originals usually centre around depression and betrayal but with an alt RnB/HipHop sound so I can dance while I cry about my shitty life choices. I do jingles because they're fun and pay the bills. I'm looking to get into voice over work - they say the South African accent is the sexiest in the world.
