I currently work as a marketing manager and graphic designer for a company in the UK. During my time here I’ve ran social media campaigns both normal and paid and targeted potential customers. This was done via Facebook and Twitter and was heavily driven when the company was exhibiting in Dubai. Since starting I’ve gotten the company likes and followers increased by over 700%. This has also lead to publishing videos I’ve shot and edited on YouTube for Installation or set up of products. I’ve had to update their brand standards and manipulate pre-existing work to the ensure they match the new standards. I’ve also had to update their website using their in-house system called modEx which was created by sorchsoft but have experience in Wordpress. My coding skills are better at code manipulation than implementing directly or recoding a full site from scratch, however I’m using udemy to do a course on web development to further strengthen my skills. During my time I’ve solely created every material for the aforementioned Gitex exhibition in Dubai including liasing with suppliers for a halo lit sign for our stand. Whilst designing what would go in the stand I used sketchup to create a 3D render to scale of the space and give the M.D. an idea of what the final result would look like. I’ve also taught photoshop and illustrator within the company as well Skype sessions share screening. Created packaging designs for products on illustrator and a new full product catalogue including data specs and taking and editing of photos.
