Dosai Amma Dosai - Kids Rhymes

“Dosai Amma Dosai” is one of Tamil Nadu’s most beloved traditional children’s rhymes, originally sung in a playful tone to engage kids during mealtime. For this project, I created a fresh, modern rendition of the rhyme — combining its nostalgic charm with contemporary musical production to appeal to both children and parents. The goal was to retain the innocence and cultural flavor of the original rhyme while introducing fun, upbeat instrumentation and catchy rhythmic layers that resonate with today’s young audience. I used a mix of acoustic percussion (to preserve the South Indian folk vibe) and playful synth textures to create an energetic and educational feel.
