Designed and built Amazon Haul, a scalable AI-powered microservices eCommerce platform. Developed AI recommendation and conversational shopping experiences using Python/FastAPI and Amazon LLM tooling with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases. Built secure REST APIs with Spring Boot using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and AWS IAM, and implemented performance improvements across checkout, search, and recommendations using EC2/Lambda. Led a small engineering team to prototype Rufus agents, improved frontend modularity with Next.js micro-frontends, integrated third-party logistics tracking (USPS/UPS), and automated frontend/backend testing to achieve strong coverage and reliable CI/CD via GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Contributed to migrating legacy telehealth services to a cloud-native Converge platform, refactoring monolithic Java/Spring Boot applications into AWS microservices (ECS/Lambda/RDS), improving availability and visit success rates. Developed video consultation features using WebRTC with secure SIP/WebSocket signaling and integrated with EHR systems (Cerner/Epic) via HL7/FHIR. Built Spring Boot REST APIs with HIPAA-compliant PHI handling. Architected modular React frontends with microfrontend structure for independent deployments. Implemented monitoring and alerting with AWS CloudWatch and Lambda; used Kafka for decoupling and scalability; designed relational database schemas with indexing/query tuning/partitioning; supported containerization with Docker/Kubernetes; and participated in code reviews and modernization efforts.
