I’m Shannon Hayden, a musician exploring the cutting edge of technology without losing my deep roots in rigorous, conservatory training. Rolling Stone called me a secret weapon, and I’ve spent the last decade quietly redefining what a 19th-century cello—reimagined with electronics—can do on stage and in the studio.

From producing and engineering projects for Lily & Madeleine and SIMRIT to touring the globe with my hybrid setup, I blend classical training with avant-pop experimentation. I handle writing, recording, and production end-to-end, turning analog instruments into expansive soundscapes that cross genres and push the boundaries of sound.
