I have just over two years of industry experience with Concept and UI art within a AA games studio with a shipped project, backed by a Bachelor of Creative Technologies (Games Art) from Media Design School in Auckland. The brunt of my work from A44 Games is only approved for private portfolio use; please contact me if you wish to see examples of my work or references from this time! --- **A44 Games** - Concept and UI Artist on Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn I worked primarily with character and weapon concepts alongside some environment and creature design. With Flintlock being in its later stages of development, my concept work needed to work within certain limitations and I highly enjoyed working with Art Direction and the Characters team to ensure I would hit that mark. Alongside Concept Art, I'd also rotate to UI support where I would supply mockups, create icons and other assets, and implement sprites in-engine. I also enjoyed the opportunity to create graphic designs for team apparel on more than one occasion. **Media Design School** - Bachelor of Creative Technologies (Game Art) Here I developed 3D modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging, and animation skills alongside experience with multiple solo and group game projects. Partway through this study in early 2022, I joined A44 Games as a full-time Concept Artist, and continued my study remotely and part time. I'm happy to say that I completed my qualification in July of 2023.

Education

Bachelor of Creative Technologies (Game Art) at Media Design School
February 4, 2019 - July 21, 2023
At MDS, I developed skills in Game Design and the Game Art pipeline; namely 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animating. I took part in multiple solo and group student game project development cycles, and partway through my study I joined a game studio as a full-time concept artist. I continued my study remotely and part-time, completing my qualification in July 2023.
