I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with a strong foundation in visual storytelling, theatre design, and craft-based artistic practice. For over 25 years, I’ve been developing and applying my skills across costume and wide span of design, fine arts, lettering, illustration, photography, leatherwork, and art direction—often merging traditional media with conceptual frameworks. Over the past decade, I’ve worked extensively as both lead and assistant designer on large-scale opera and theatre productions across Europe, creating visual worlds for casts ranging from 20 to big stage productions. I understand the full scope of design and production—from concept art and illustration through to fabrication—and I thrive in collaborative, high-pressure creative environments. Illustration plays a vital role in my practice. I particularly enjoy creating complete visual concepts for environments and scenographies, and I like to adapt my drawing style to suit the tone, subject, or context of each project. My method is responsive and adaptive: I can lead a project from conceptual vision to detailed execution, across disciplines—whether visual design, participatory art, object-making, or spatial storytelling. I approach illustration with sensitivity, craft, and care—rooted in intuition, material awareness, and a strong visual language. I’m also always interested in small-scale, clodes themes projects. They keep my ideas fresh and playful, providing balance and creative energy between long-term productions. I work across paper, Procreate, and Adobe Photoshop—and I rely on my own skills, not generative AI, to bring original, meaningful artwork to life.
