3D Animation - Back to Basics

This also is a 3D product animation I created for my client, Spacesaver Inc., of Fort Atkinson, WI.
I collaborated with the company’s marketing team, and following their script, I created the animation from concept to video, involving: creating a storyboard, 3D models, animatic, rough animation, and ultimately the finished 3D video.
My contributions to the final product were:

• Conceptual and storyboard art (freehand art)
• 3D modeling of the animation’s scene setup and the company’s product, mobile shelving units. (using 3D software Autodesk Maya)
• Texturing, Lighting, Animation, and batch-image renders of all camera shots (using Maya)
• Compositing batch-rendered shots, along with music, text, and effects (using compositing software After Effects)
• Rendering and delivery of final animation video (using After Effects)
