3D Animation - Educational Storage

This is a 3D product animation I created for my client, Improve Group Inc., of Albuquerque, NM.
I collaborated with the company’s marketing team, creating the animation from concept to final video, involving: creating a storyboard, modeling 3D assets*, animatic, rough animation, and ultimately the finished 3D video.
My contributions were:

• Conceptual and storyboard art creation (freehand art)
• 3D modeling* of the animation’s scene setup and the company’s products, mobile educational storage units (using 3D software Autodesk Maya)
• Texturing, Lighting, Animation, and batch-image renders of all camera shots (using Maya)
• Compositing batch-rendered shots, along with music, text, and effects (using video editing software After Effects)
• Rendering and delivery of final animation video (After Effects)

*(3D Trees/bushes, instruments, clothing, old file cabinets, some notebooks, trophies, and football helmets were not modeled by me)
