I started this one by helping with writing verse 2, then Nathan asked for me to track warm keys, sampled drums, and pads throughout.
He sent through some live drums and electric guitars he had tracked for me to add in to the session.
I added some of my own electric guitars and vocal FX to the track. I recorded my vocals for the first verse as a placeholder for him to sing to. Nathan liked my vocals so much he decided I should sing that verse and to make it a collaboration featured myself! (originally I was just ghost producing).
He asked Dan Hagen to sing verse 2 (he has an epic voice) and we went to work recording his vocals in the studio. Lastly, we recorded Nathan's vocals in the bridge to finish the song off.
I filled in the gaps with some acoustic guitars, synths, splice samples, drum samples, and backing vocals to finish off the track. It turned out epic by the end! I then mixed and track and we sent it off to master.
