Hi, I’m Struan James. I’m the Deputy Principal at Brightwater School, currently involved with the Senior Leadership Team and supporting across schools to drive excellent educational outcomes for all learners. I lead teaching and learning in the Senior School, coach and mentor staff, and collaborate across schools to plan strategic outcomes that lift student achievement. Outside school, I’ve recently returned to cricket after a 25-year break and am an active member of our Motueka cricket club. My wife Melissa and I have four children; we love the outdoors, spending time in the bush, on our bikes, and at local beaches.
