Hi there! I’m Tamia Dawkins, a dedicated music educator and performer based in Orlando, Florida. Over the past decade, I have taught students from elementary to elder adults, directed orchestras, guitar ensembles, and led private lessons from home. My passion is helping people of all ages discover musical confidence through instrumental technique, theory, and collaborative performance. In addition to classroom teaching, I perform at churches and events, lead church music programs, and create engaging concerts and fundraisers. I sing and perform for funerals, events, and commissions. I believe in inclusive music learning, including ADHD and ASD accommodations. I also hand compose, transcribe, and arrange music.
