Travis Jordan Randolph
Bio:
I am a 24-year-old graphic designer and versatile creative problem solver, currently residing in Massachusetts.
My defining qualities that are present in all that I do are patience, work ethic, organization, ambition, perpetual optimism, adaptability, and willingness to collaborate. What sets me apart from other designers is how well I intently listen. Whether it be critiques, learning what a client stands for, aims to convey and their target audience, or ideas from coworkers on my team. I always strive to acknowledge and internalize the thoughts of others.
Design Process:
Research. I begin by sending the client a creative brief to learn more information about their brand and target market.
Brainstorm. I conduct research on the client’s field and their target market, brainstorm to form a list of keywords & phrases relating to the business and target market, then proceed to condense that down to 3-5 strong concepts.
Sketch. I create a moodboard (building a visual expression for logo inspiration), sketch rough concepts influenced by the keywords and moodboard, then use those sketches as references for final concepts to be fully realized in
Adobe Illustrator.
Create. Here I relate all further design choices back to the chosen words and notes about the target market.
Present. I am critical of each design and choose 2 or 3 strong designs then present the finished product to the client.
