Hi, I’m Thomas Karlsson, a WordPress expert and full‑stack web developer based in Tyresö, Sweden. I spend hours coding, hacking, testing, and optimizing for different needs. I’m proficient in common web programming languages and, in my spare time, I enjoy building projects in JavaScript frameworks such as Next.js and Remix. I also love sharing knowledge and teaching courses in WordPress, web development, and related technologies.
When I’m not hands‑on with code, I mentor colleagues, lead technical initiatives, and help teams design robust architectures. I’m passionate about delivering scalable solutions, empowering others, and continuously learning new tools to improve performance, accessibility, and user experience.
In my nearly six years at Catena Media, I grew from an Architect building key internal systems to the Head of Research & Development. During that time, I managed the North American tech team and led projects that streamlined operations across all company websites, which gave me extensive experience in maintaining complex web environments.
Managed their entire tech stack, built requested features, helped with design, speed/CWV, and SEO.
Remote instructor delivering courses in web programming across various subjects; designed curricula and supported schools in creating year-round programs.
Teach various subjects and help schools create school-programs throughout the year.
R&D focused on researching and testing AI solutions for internal use.
