Tiemdi - Janda

“JANDA” is a powerful anthem celebrating the resilience and strength of Africa, personified as the figure of Janda. The song tells the story of a barefoot child, once oppressed and exploited by those who sought to take advantage of her riches, but who has now risen to become a symbol of empowerment and pride. Rooted in the ancient histories of Egypt and Ethiopia, Janda embodies the spirit of Africa’s struggles and triumphs. The song highlights her journey through centuries of adversity, enduring hardship but never losing sight of her heritage and freedom. “JANDA” is a tribute to Africa as the mother of all, a queen who loves and protects her children from the chains of oppression to the veins of progress.
