Hi, I’m Tomiwa Olu, a Lagos-based freelance colorist and illustrator. Since 2019 I’ve built a versatile toolkit—from comic book coloring and illustrations to background painting for animations and concept art. I’ve contributed to in-house productions at Spook Media and collaborated with studios like Kibi Kwasi, Hero Corp, Ajakaa and Rolita Tales. From 2021 to 2023 I led background painting for animation at Disrupt DNA, expanding into major animation and concept art tasks, and contributed to ads for in-house clients such as Custodian, Access Bank, Sparkle Nigeria, Trans-world Security, Carbon Zero and One Culture. I also work with a range of studios and artists, including Sean Fuller on The Apollo’s Run, and with studios like PEDA Entertainment, Carcass Studios, and KAH Studios.
