An independent presentation design project exploring how structured visual systems and AI-assisted workflows can improve the creation of professional business presentations.
The project involved developing a cohesive Google Slides design system with reusable layouts, consistent typography, information hierarchy, adaptable content areas and coordinated visual elements.
I combined research, analytical thinking, graphic design and AI-assisted problem-solving to explore how presentations can be developed as structured systems rather than isolated slides.
Key contributions:
Designed reusable presentation layouts for executive summaries, research insights, charts and content-heavy slides.
Established consistent typography, spacing, colour and visual hierarchy.
Used AI to support research, content structuring, creative iteration and scripting exploration.
Developed and tested an experimental Google Apps Script proof of concept demonstrating manually triggered repositioning of related slide elements when heading content expands.
Evaluated layout constraints, overflow challenges and visual consistency.
Tools: Google Slides, Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, AI-assisted research and design workflows.
Outcome: A presentation design portfolio demonstrating reusable templates, structured information design and an experimental approach to presentation workflow improvement.
