Performance Testing Engineer at Spike95

As a Consultant I would work with different retail companies to assist with test executions, monitoring, design, implementation and analysis. The goal depending on the client would range from upgrading existing infrastructure and migration of services to cloud platforms as well as general performance monitoring of existing and new applications. During my time at Spike95 I spent time upskilling between clients on testing tools such as Apache JMeter and NeoLoad and also acquired the ISTQB-PT certification to compliment my existing ISTQB-CTFL certification.

Performance Testing Engineer at Betway Group/Win Technologies

When I joined the Performance Testing team in 2019 it was a small team consisting of 5 people including myself and had only existed for 12 months. For the first 6 months I would shadow the more senior members of the team assisting with various testing activities, test plan creation, test executions, analysis and reporting as well as other relevant documenting like bug reporting/tracking. I would then go on to work more independently leading my own projects - from requirements gathering to test completion, providing overviews to stakeholders and archiving test data and resources. The work I would be expected to deliver on would range from API testing new and existing to establish baseline performance while observing peak load, framework upgrades (.Net) and service migrations.
