Hi, I’m Valdemar Andrade, a Backend Engineer specializing in Java, Spring Boot, and distributed systems architecture. I design scalable REST APIs, event-driven microservices, and database-driven applications using PostgreSQL and MySQL. I enjoy building resilient, scalable systems and contributing to enterprise-grade distributed architectures.
I’m expanding my expertise in Kubernetes and deployment automation ( Helm ) for cloud-native applications, and I thrive in collaborative environments that push for clean architecture, SOLID principles, and modern backend practices.

A complete pet identification and management system using QR codes. Developed with Spring Boot (Java 17+) on the backend and React on the frontend, PetSafe QR allows pet owners to create complete profiles with medical and contact information, generating a unique QR code that can be used on collars. It features a special “Lost Pet” functionality with highlighted visual alerts.

This project simulates a real industrial production pipeline, where independent services collaborate to produce goods.
Pipeline Flow:
Raw Material → Processing → Component Production → Product Assembly
Each step operates as an isolated microservice, communicating through Kafka events.
The Raw Material Service is the entry point of the production pipeline.
It is responsible for simulating the extraction of raw materials (e.g., iron, latex, sand) that will be used by subsequent services.
Without this service, the entire production chain cannot be initiated.

Part of a distributed Industry 4.0 Industrial Pipeline Simulator, built with an event-driven microservices architecture.
The Processing Service is responsible for transforming raw materials into usable industrial materials.
It acts as the second stage of the production pipeline, linking raw material extraction to component manufacturing.
Examples:
Iron ore → Steel
Sand → Glass
Latex → Rubber

Part of a distributed Industry 4.0 Industrial Pipeline Simulator, built with an event-driven microservices architecture.
The Component Service is responsible for producing industrial parts from processed materials.
It acts as the third stage of the pipeline, responsible for transforming usable materials into components ready for assembly.
Examples:
Steel → Pistons, Crankshaft, Chassis
Glass → Screen
Rubber → Tires
