Hello! I’m Valdemar Andrade, a backend Java developer with hands-on experience in building REST APIs and scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. I enjoy applying Clean Code and SOLID principles to design maintainable services and leverage asynchronous messaging with Kafka for distributed architectures. I’m open to remote international opportunities, comfortable with Brazilian time zones, and willing to relocate if needed. I aim to contribute to microservices, API integrations, database modeling, and CI/CD automation while continuously improving my engineering skills in modern backend environments.

Industry Experience

Industrial Pipeline Simulator (Industry 4.0) - Part 1

This project simulates a real industrial production pipeline, where independent services collaborate to produce goods.

    Pipeline Flow:

Raw Material → Processing → Component Production → Product Assembly

Each step operates as an isolated microservice, communicating through Kafka events.

The Raw Material Service is the entry point of the production pipeline.

It is responsible for simulating the extraction of raw materials (e.g., iron, latex, sand) that will be used by subsequent services.

Without this service, the entire production chain cannot be initiated.

Industrial Pipeline Simulator (Industry 4.0) - Part 2

Part of a distributed Industry 4.0 Industrial Pipeline Simulator, built with an event-driven microservices architecture.

The Processing Service is responsible for transforming raw materials into usable industrial materials.

It acts as the second stage of the production pipeline, linking raw material extraction to component manufacturing.

    Examples:

    Iron ore → Steel
    Sand → Glass
    Latex → Rubber

Industrial Pipeline Simulator (Industry 4.0) - Part 3

Part of a distributed Industry 4.0 Industrial Pipeline Simulator, built with an event-driven microservices architecture.

The Component Service is responsible for producing industrial parts from processed materials.

It acts as the third stage of the pipeline, responsible for transforming usable materials into components ready for assembly.

    Examples:

    Steel → Pistons, Crankshaft, Chassis
    Glass → Screen
    Rubber → Tires
