The website was completely redeveloped, designed to be more user friendly and faster to access critical resources, with a complete overhaul of the resource manager. The most time consuming part of the development was coming up with a way to organize their massive library of resources with advanced filtering when searching.

Worked on an 18-month contract to redevelop the Mark Anthony Group family of consumer websites including White Claw (https://www.twine.net/signin Mike’s Hard (https://www.twine.net/signin Lemon Life (https://www.twine.net/signin and Freed Earth Tea (https://www.twine.net/signin
Skills used in that role included full HTML/CSS template development in Bootstrap 5, integration into the HUGO templating system that the company was using for the front-end, and integration with company APIs for city by city product location in stores, pubs, and restaurants.
Because of my expertise in WordPress, I was tasked with developing a new website for the Mark Anthony Group for a new whisky brand they purchased called Bearface Whisky.
The website was a challenge due to the massive amount of high quality imagery and background on most of the pages, and I had to produce both and English version and French version.
I developed the two languages by creating the English pages at the root, and all the equivalent French pages in an “fr” folder so I didn’t have to use any plugin such as WPML, and switching languages would always land you on the right page.
The goal for the redevelopment of the De Dutch website was to convert a Figma design to a WordPress theme white integrating all old and new content into the website. In order to make the content fully manageable to the owner, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) was used to create custom editable sections mainly using the Flexible Content field with other fields. The new website was developed on a staging environment, optimized, and set up with basic SEO before pushing the new website live.
After being given 6 weeks to turn a new Figma Design into a new WordPress website, I got to work at developing their new WordPress theme using Elementor Pro including templates for main pages, blog articles, and customer stories. I then set up all the tools they were using before such as Hubspot and Yoast, set up 301 redirects, optimized their images, created custom code for features Elementor could not do out of the box, and pushed their site to production from staging.
