Dejan Vekić is a Sarajevo-born, Netherlands-based photographer, retoucher, and visual artist with over 30 years of professional experience spanning fine art, commercial e-commerce, film, and education. Since 2015, he has worked as a Senior Photographer and Retoucher, providing high-end product photography and post-production services for leading European studios and brands. His clients include De Bijenkorf, Karl Lagerfeld, PVH, O’Neill, Action, Peak & Kloppenburg, and agencies such as Fashot, Amstershot, MEERO, and OCUS across the Netherlands, Germany, and France. Earlier in his career, Dejan served as the lead still photographer for Oscar-winning director Danis Tanović, contributing to major international productions including No Man’s Land (Oscar 2002), Triage, Cirkus Columbia, An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker (Silver Bear), and Tigers. He has held several teaching positions, including Associate Professor at the American University in Sarajevo (Multimedia Department), lecturer for the Ministry of Culture of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Photography Lecturer at School4Helden Workshop in The Hague.
