I am a creative, proactive and resourceful television production professional with experience in developing national and international video content. This includes producing video content, promotional campaigns, as well as launching and developing programmes and channels. I have a keen interest in global news and I am an experienced story teller, script-writer. Having worked in a wide variety of television genres I am familiar with adapting to different audiences and ways of communicating, including creating content for social media. I am used to working in demanding environments and producing quality work to tight deadlines. I have highly developed production and technical skills, including editing, camera operation, audio recording, motion graphics and design. I am highly organised, can work, can multi-task on multiple projects, I can work independently but also as part of a team. I started my career as a designer/animator and have continued to keep up to date with design/animation techniques, primarily using the Adobe suite (experienced in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Character Animator). My most recent work has been focused on Producing video content for online/social media campaigns and exploring innovative uses of new technology. Currently I am developing my skills by creating Virtual Experiences for Commercial Projects, Arts, Heritage and Education. I have also recently completed a course in Virtual production, which included learning Unreal Engine. I am a British National, with a BA in Combined Arts (English, History and Politics), a Post Grad diploma in Electronic Imaging (Filming, Editing, TV Graphics, Audio Production). I have produced and filmed stories for AlJazeera in Africa, Asia, the US, the Middle East and Europe.
