Hi! I’m Ally Akdamar, a digital designer and media creator with a background in innovative media, visual storytelling, and brand-focused design. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Innovative Media from Henderson State University in May 2022, where I developed hands-on experience across digital design, technology, and communication. Through academic and collaborative projects, I worked extensively in video production and editing, photography and photo editing, typography, motion graphics, and visual branding, bringing concepts to life through thoughtful design and storytelling. I’m proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects, as well as other tools such as Canva, Affinity Products, and Procreate. During my time as a Creative Services Intern with Henderson State University’s Marketing and Communications Department, I collaborated with a creative team to produce visual content that supported campus-wide initiatives. This role strengthened my creative problem-solving skills and reinforced the importance of teamwork, consistency, and audience-focused design. After graduating, I worked as an Administrative & Communication Coordinator at Keating & Associates, where I designed and implemented marketing graphics and communication materials for multiple financial advisor teams. This role allowed me to blend creativity with strategy while managing projects across branding, digital communication, and administrative support.
