I’m a self-motivated, adaptable student with strong practical experience in website/software development and digital marketing, and I’m currently building toward a full-stack web development role. Through my T Level in Digital Production, Design & Development, I’ve developed a solid foundation in web technologies and problem-solving, and I enjoy collaborating with others to deliver work to a high standard. I also bring a creative and people-focused mindset from projects and experiences across education, work placements, volunteering, and team events. I’m comfortable taking initiative, communicating clearly, and quickly picking up new tools; whether that’s mini projects set by my course, or working alongside businesses on real web-related projects. I have a deep passion for web development, being particularly drawn to the balance between front-end and back-end development; front-end allows me to be creative and explore new ways to enhance user experience, whereas back-end challenges me to engage with problem solving and logic. I find that the combination of the two presents a demanding, yet rewarding challenge that motivates me to continually develop both my technical and creative abilities. Outside of education, I have consistently sought opportunities to expand my knowledge of the industry. Since 2022, I have used my spare time to learn a range of programming languages, tools and technologies relevant to web development. These include HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React/Next.js, as well as utilising Node.js, PHP and SQL. I have experience with version control in Git, cloud services through AWS, and experimenting with Linux Mint Cinnamon through a CLI along with Ubuntu via Oracle VirtualBox. I have found that learning independently has enabled me to approach my commitments with confidence, and maintain motivation for continuous improvement.
