In recent weeks, I started studying and testing Full Site Editing (FSE) — the new approach to WordPress theme development. With FSE, it’s possible to deliver fully editable websites using blocks, without relying on code or custom fields. After gaining a deeper understanding of this model, I converted my personal website — allysonbelo.com — from a classic theme to a 100% FSE-based theme. The flexibility is significantly greater, and with some custom CSS and JavaScript tweaks, I was able to make it look and behave exactly as I envisioned.
