Hi, I'm Amaury Laurent Bernier, a film music composer based in Hamburg, Germany, since 2015. I was born and raised near Paris, studied modern literature, and spent years writing and arranging for different artists as a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Writing music for films came naturally to me, and I developed an organic, warm, eclectic style where subtext turns characters into people and feelings into emotions. My music has accompanied more than 120 projects across formats, earning recognition at festivals like NYIFF, Munich, Kyoto, Cinekids, and Hamburg. I have received multiple awards for my scores, including the German Film Music Prize and NY International in 2024, and Best Composer at Independent Days in 2025. Parallel to film work, I release solo material blending alternative rock, modern classical with vintage vocal harmonies, and cinematic storytelling.
