However, the day wasn’t without its challenges. In the middle of our session, we faced a difficult moment when one of our photographers had their camera bag stolen. It was a tough reminder of the unpredictability of location shoots.
Despite the setback, we chose to push forward. In the end, the creative result was what mattered most. We walked away with these stunning images that carry a sense of peace and resilience, proving that even when things go wrong, art still finds a way to shine.

A Surprising Connection
The story behind this shoot is as beautiful as the frames themselves. For this project, our photography group had invited these two incredible models separately, expecting to shoot them individually. However, in a delightful twist, we realized on set that they were actually together!
One of the photographers in our group caught the vibe and suggested we capture them as a duo. What followed was a series of completely natural and heartfelt moments that no amount of pre-planning could have matched. The chemistry was already there—we just had to press the shutter.

I headed to the photo studio with a completely different concept and style in mind for the model. However, mid-session, something caught my eye—a small rug (gelim) on the floor perfectly positioned under a beam of direct, dramatic light.
I decided to pivot from our original plan and asked the model to pose right there. Sometimes the best shots aren’t the ones you spend weeks planning, but the ones you create by following the light. The result? These striking, textured portraits capture a raw and artistic energy.
