A Junkyard Wonder- Debut LP

From 2022- 2024, I worked on writing, recording and producing my own 8 track debut LP called ‘A Junkyard Wonder’. This album is a collection of songs bringing together my contemporary folk, chamber pop, indie rock and electronica inspired influences. The record is set to release by the end of this year.

The roles I took on in this project were that of:

1. Singer/ Songwriter:

• Composed eight tracks, five of which were vocal/ lyrical with the remaining three being instrumental compositions
• Wrote lyrics on six out of eight tracks
• Sung and arranged all the vocals on the record

2. Arranger:

• Arranged and orchestrated for all instruments/ performances on the record such as: Drums, Bass, Guitars, Piano, Harp, Strings, Horns, Marimba and more
• Musical direction/ band-leading during rehearsals and recordings

3. Sound Engineer:

• Made recording decisions such as mic placements for various instruments/ setups on the record, along with post production processing and treatment choices
• Engineered multiple sessions on Protools and Logic Pro X
• Performed post production tasks such as audio editing, repair, tuning, cleanup and session organisation

4. Music Producer:

• Programmed elements of additional production using soft synths, drum machines, and other textural sound samples and libraries
