Hi, I’m Brooke Richey, a Seattle-based musician, composer, and sound designer. I craft original music for film, theatre, and media, lead ensembles, and coach singers and instrumentalists. I collaborate with directors, writers, and engineers to bring sonic visions to life and to create performances that connect with audiences.
I’m the lead singer/songwriter for indie-rock group Black Bird Collective. I’ve previously worked as a worship director and continued to write worship songs and sing with worship groups. I’ve recorded for Seattle Film Institute projects, and built a practice that ranges from solo gigs to teaching and coaching and production work. My work spans orchestration, arrangement, and live performance, and I love exploring new sounds and collaboration for film, media, and musical theatre.
