I'm Bryan Clark, a musician, producer, and educator whose career spans multiple genres, continents, and disciplines. I began my professional journey opening for jazz guitar legend Larry Carlton and have built an international career as a session musician, composer, sound designer, and producer, with extensive work in Los Angeles, Austin, and Nashville. I earned a BM and DMA from USC and an MM from The University of Texas at Austin. I've collaborated with modern dance companies, spoken-word artists, and filmmakers, creating original scores, soundscapes, and experimental productions. I founded Rainfeather Records in Nashville to pursue innovative, cross-cultural projects. My Wire and Wood project with erhu virtuoso Ma Xiaohui culminated in a televised New Year performance in Shanghai reaching hundreds of millions of viewers. My bluegrass band Honeywagon has released five albums and earned an 18-month run on Billboard’s Bluegrass Top 10, peaking at number 3. I spent eight and a half years as an in-house producer at Blackbird Studio, recording over 100 albums, and I teach at The Blackbird Academy, University of New Haven, Belmont University, and Vanderbilt University. I’m also Co-Founder of Modern Music Masters, and my work has been spotlighted in Guitar Player, Premier Guitar, Billboard, and Mix Magazine.
