I am a visual storyteller, I don’t want to tell a narrative I want to show a narrative. Primarily my work is done in 3D with Maya and zBrush. As I craft and sculpt I can physically see my vision coming to life. My work in the past has varied in themes but the topics I am often driven towards are those of self-expression and empowerment. Showcasing stories of characters overcoming their doubts and insecurities. I don’t only want to share my own stories, I want to share others as well. I reimagine people’s stories and memories and preserve them through animation. My background is diverse, studying 3D animation, 2D animation, video, and sound. I have delved into many aspects of animation and film but my main focus is on 3D animation and motion graphics. In my art I focus on making content through a fun and bubbly lens.

    Ghost Trails

What’s gone? Who knows! That’s why its absent from our collective memory as a whole, the essence of being a human moving constantly forward in time, you forgot what has been known and to make space to know what is going to be known. Take a step back to look into the historical memory of the dead as you explore the Richmond area. We want to learn more about the historical places and people of Richmond and encourage others to explore these areas too.
This project provides a unique opportunity for users to engage with history in a new and innovative way. By utilizing augmented reality technology, users can view historical models of the Richmond area in their respective geographical locations. This creates an immersive and interactive experience that allows users to explore the past in a way that was previously impossible.
We are seeking to challenge the notion that our collective memory is constantly shifting and evolving, with new information replacing the old by providing a platform for users to engage with history in a way that is both informative and engaging. By taking a step back and looking into the historical memory of the dead, users can gain a deeper understanding of the world around them and the events that have shaped it.

    The Park of Lost Ideas

Collaborative project with VCU Arts, Kinetic Imaging and Computer Science, and K-Arts. This is a VR Chat immersive game and performance based work. Dive in as you explore a cemetery that intertwines both American and Korean views of death and the afterlife.

Humans can’t know anyone but themselves
The process of “knowing” another entails the creation of a subjective projection
When people die, ideas do not
Ghosts form from projections onto nonexistent bodies
They’re products of the living body, nothing more

    Echoes of Shadows

Collaborative project with VCU Arts, Kinetic Imaging and Computer Science, and K-Arts. This is a VR immersive multiplayer game and performance based work. Dive in as you explore a museum and collect information on artifacts.

In this 1940s-inspired experience, three participants take on the roles of the Shadows spies known as “Echoes.” On a mission to help reclaim their lost legacy, the “Cintamani(여의주),” the Echoes are stationed in different apartments in a building across the street from the Haneulje Museum of Interesting Properties, an institution housing historically potent artifacts that were stolen from other nations. Using their gadgets to collect information about the museum’s layout and their dossiers to establish the artifacts they are recovering, the Echoes must communicate and work together to solve the clues that will lead them to return the artifacts to their rightful nations.

    Remember and Recover

Remember and Recover is a game that helps people deal with traumatic experiences. It helps the user further understand what being traumatized means and creates a path for the player to deal with their trauma. All this while discussing the events with Senti, a mentor and guild for the user through the experience. It has users go through flight vs fight vs freeze responses, simulating things like panic attacks or situations where they are faced with their memories. The player comes into the world from the perspective of a person who has gone through a traumatic event such as a car accident. We go through events through the eyes of a survivor. Senti guides us through the events and the aftermath of the survivor’s mind.

    Miraculous Mushrooms

Miraculous Mushrooms is a short film exploring the idea of mushrooms and all they do for the environment. I researched information on mushrooms and looked into different technical effects in Maya. It’s still a work in progress as I look into more information to add and more special effects to give the mushrooms their magic.

    Me, Myself, & I

Me, Myself, & I is a 3D computer animated piece focusing on the struggle of discovering sexuality and one’s self. Before finding out they are asexual, Kingsley wonders what is wrong with her until they find information and a community of people who have gone through the same thing. It shows a character working through the self discovery of being asexual, and the realization that they are not broken or alone.
