Originally from Colombia and residing in London, his travels around Argentina, Brazil, and the United States have shaped his multicultural approach to creating universal sounds that can surface our most human emotions. He has worked in London with artists such as David Gilmour, Annie Lennox, Phil Manzanera (Roxy Music), Andy Mackay (Roxy Music), Paul Simonon (Gorillaz), Tony Allen (The Good, the Bad & the Queen), Kanye West, and Jay Z as well as several independent artists, in studios such as Abbey Road, Metropolis, Gallery Studios and British Grove. In the last few years, Andres has set up his home studio with the purpose of working more intimately with emerging artists, hence the name 121 Studios. Combining his expertise, networking skills, and state-of-the-art recording studio setup, Andres can provide artists with a one-stop-shop to create original productions, track vocals and other instruments and turn their compositions into world-class productions in a close and intimate environment. He is also well acquainted with some of the best studios in London which he uses as satellite hubs for larger ensembles or bands.
