Architecting an AI-powered conversational platform for therapeutic-style conversations and guided user journeys. I designed a flexible, multi-provider LLM layer (OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock) for context-aware conversations, implemented safety-focused systems, and built voice-to-session workflows with transcription and session structuring. I developed a conversation intelligence layer with summarisation, personality-aware responses, and configurable prompts to deliver empathetic, user-centric experiences.

As technical architect, DevOps owner, and AI lead for an award-winning research platform, I shaped the long-term technical roadmap and owned security, stability and delivery. I turned a blank-page concept into a global enterprise production system, engineered high-availability AWS infrastructure and a Laravel/Vue backend to manage complex research workflows (surveys, polls, real-time discussion forums) at scale, and led end-to-end delivery. I pioneered Generative AI-driven analysis pipelines using Claude (Bedrock) and OpenAI, and designed Maya, a fully autonomous WhatsApp moderator that reduces manual setup by ~80%. I also enabled multi-modal data capture with AssemblyAI and WhatsApp to scale conversational research globally, leveraging Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate velocity and code quality.

Engineering Lead for a fintech startup, accelerating a greenfield online insurance brokerage. I delivered secure RESTful APIs with Laravel, a high-performance Vue/Nuxt frontend, enterprise-grade authentication and secure data handling, and acted as a strategic technical partner to the founding team to drive rapid product iteration.
