Hi, I’m Davin. I’m a freelance animator and creator with hands-on experience in frame-by-frame animation, sound design, and collaborative film projects. I love crafting lively visuals and rich audio to bring characters and stories to life, from rough thumbnails to polished final renders. I’m currently exploring non-photorealistic rendering in Blender 3D and enjoy teaming with others to push creative boundaries.
Over the years I’ve contributed to multiple animated projects with peers at Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, producing music, SFX, and animation assets for short films and festival reels. I’m always eager to take on new challenges, learn from diverse teams, and help tell stories through a well-balanced blend of visuals and sound.

This is an animation made by DaCattito that I contributed to in 2025.
I handled the sound effects for this project while someone else took care of the music. Some of the sound effects were made from scratch in Studio One, and others I sourced from freesound.org.

I handled the original soundtrack and sound design for this one. I composed the music using Studio One and went for a jazz style, which turned out really well. The director was happy with how it came together, which was great to hear.

I handled the original soundtrack and sound design for this one. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to work on the animation itself since I was busy with season 3 of Desa Timun at the time. But the final result came out really great, and this animation ended up premiering at CRAFT Animation Festival.
This is an animation I made with Frentz in 2025, just 2 people initially.
Honestly, I was pretty stressed going into this one since it was my first time handling both 3D art direction and animation at the same time. We only had about 2 months to pull it off, and compared to other groups working on similar projects, we were seriously understaffed.
Thankfully, a friend stepped in to help with the live action portions, so we ended up being a team of 3 (with one person from outside our group).
For my part, I handled everything on the 3D side:
initial designs, modeling, texturing, rigging, posing, animating, and rendering. It was a lot, but definitely doable. I used Blender for all the 3D work and Krita for the 2D assets.
Because of our tight timeline, we had to use stock music from YouTube and other sites instead of doing original compositions to keep things moving.
This was made for a module about ocean cleaning aimed at kids in daycare. It’s not my best work, but considering we had 2 months to handle recording, editing, animating, and post production.
This is an animation I made with Stellar in 2023 with a team of 7 people.
This project was a big first for me since I was tasked with modeling and rigging a Santa Claus character. The catch? I had never touched Blender before, so it was definitely a learning curve. That’s actually how I got introduced to the software in the first place.
I also helped out with some of the animation work, but the trickiest part was making sure the model stayed intact when we moved it around because it would break sometimes.
This was also my first time working alongside an actual film crew. We rented a house for 2 days and shot everything in about 8 hours on location.
This was for an ad for a local business called sim bird nest, I had to be on site to assist with the sound report, which was stressful but honestly a lot of fun looking back on it.
This is an animation I worked on with Sarang Ulet in 2022 alongside a team of 5 people. I took on several roles throughout the project which include animation work and audio.
For the animation work, I did the rough animation, in-betweening, cleanup, and handled the coloring in Toon Boom Harmony.
On the audio side, I created all the original music and sound effects using Studio One. It took our team around 3 months to finish everything, and we screened it privately at our university in November 2022.
This is an animation I made with Zerotonin Studios back in 2021 with a team of 4 people.
I contributed into multiple roles for this project.
I worked as a 2D animator handling the rough animation, in-betweening, and cleanup work, plus I did all the coloring for the scenes in Photoshop.
I also composed the music from scratch using GarageBand, so everything you hear is original.
I also edited the sound effects as a sound designer too.
The whole thing took us about 3 months to complete, and we premiered it at a private screening at our university in November 2021.
