Hey there, I’m Lina, a UI/UX designer who’s super into building cool and intuitive game interfaces. I’ve been in game design for about 4 years now, working on both PC and mobile titles. My background started in graphic design, but I quickly got hooked on solving UX problems and making things simple and fun to use. I really enjoy turning messy ideas into smooth player experiences. Since 2019, I’ve worked on several projects where I helped shape the look and feel of the gameplay flow and overall UI vibe. Each project taught me a lot about balance between style and usability. Right now I’m looking for a remote role — contract, part-time, or full-time — where I can bring that experience and keep growing. I’m based in sunny San Diego (PST). Would love to connect and maybe build something great together. Cheers, Lina

    paper Lords of Ravage

I worked on the UI/UX design for Lords of Ravage, a dark fantasy strategy RPG that combines world exploration, combat, and resource management.

The main challenge was to build a complex interface that delivers a lot of information (skills, resources, battle stats, and map events) while keeping it clear and immersive. I focused on creating a consistent visual language that matched the game’s gritty tone without sacrificing usability.

We refined layouts for clarity, adjusted contrasts for readability over textured backgrounds, and defined visual hierarchy through iconography, typography, and light accents. I also worked on improving navigation between systems (world map, inventory, and combat) to make transitions feel seamless and intuitive.

The final design balanced dark atmospheric visuals with functional readability, helping the UI feel integrated into the world rather than sitting on top of it.
