Hi, I’m Danielle!
I’m 22 years of old from Ireland and I’ve just finished my degree in BSc Music, Media & Performance Technology. I’m a freelance video editor, sound editor and designer, graphic designer and motion graphics designer.
I’ve freelanced plenty before - largely editing and subtitling gaming videos or stream highlights both for long-form and sometimes storybased YouTube videos or shortform content for TikTok, YouTube and more. I’ve also been booked for graphic design and motion graphics for things such as social media layouts, headers and starting soon / be right back screens for streaming, and more. These jobs were all largely done in softwares such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, both of which I’ve been using for 8 years now.
I’ve also gained experience as a video editor through college mainly using Davinci Resolve. I’ve learned a lot of sound editing and designing skills as well through using Ableton, Reaper, Pro Tools and more. I’ve become very proficient at Ableton specifically for sound design for video and film. I was introduced to the Affinity Suite for graphic design through my time in college and am confidently proficient in it now, using it plenty for marketing and social media graphics while working for a media production company a couple of years ago.
My portfolio can be seen below, in which I link some of the content I edited a few years ago along with some feedback from past clients. Please note this portfolio has not been updated recently but my skills have only improved from that point.

YouTube Video Introductions
This client supplied me with the raw footage and voiceover of her video introduction and requested that I edit it into an enticing and energetic intro.
I started by assigning footage in an order fitting to the voiceover supplied to me by my client. Going through the intro shot by shot now, I added subtitles and graphic overlays from a library of graphics I have accumulated over the years. The subtitles were synced perfectly to the voiceover and needed to be clear for the viewer to read. These subtitles and graphics were animated slightly to add more fluidity to the intro. Sound design was done after this to enhance the presence of the overlays.
This project was largely done in Adobe After Effects.
The client was incredibly happy with the output of the introduction.
