s part of the partnership between Lakeside Church and Africa New Life Ministries, I led the clothing design and branding project aimed at promoting unity, identity, and child advocacy within the church community.
The project’s goal was to create a unique clothing brand that reflects Lakeside Church’s vision of faith, service, and transformation. Through creative design, the clothing line became both a form of expression and a tool for ministry engagement — helping members proudly represent their church while supporting outreach programs for children.
My Contribution
As the graphic designer, I was responsible for the entire creative process — from concept development to final production. My key contributions included:
Brand Identity Design
Created a consistent visual identity for the Lakeside clothing line, incorporating the church’s logo, typography, and core values into the apparel design.
Developed visual elements inspired by the church’s mission themes such as hope, community, and worship.
Clothing Graphics & Print Design
Designed T-shirts, hoodies, and caps featuring inspirational messages and symbols aligned with church ministries.
Used minimal yet expressive graphics that connect faith and lifestyle, making the apparel appealing to both youth and adults.
Color and Theme Development
Chose color palettes that represent the church’s atmosphere — blue for faith and trust, white for purity and unity, and gold accents to symbolize purpose and spiritual growth.
Community Engagement
Worked closely with youth ministry teams and volunteers to ensure that the designs reflected the identity and diversity of the Lakeside Church community.
Presented prototypes during church events to gather feedback before final production.
Project Outcome
The Lakeside Clothing Brand successfully launched as a faith-based apparel line that strengthened the church’s identity and supported child advocacy initiatives. The clothing items were worn during outreach programs, youth camps, and Sunday services — serving as a visual message of belonging and faith in action.
The initiative also helped raise awareness and funds for children supported through Africa New Life Ministries, connecting creativity with compassion.
