“everyone has a breaking point” is my debut EP, a raw exploration of emotional overload, identity, and the quiet moments that lead us toward change. Released in 2021, this project marked my first full-time foray into the world of flowerkid, pairing delicate vocals with honest lyricism, cinematic soundscapes, and confessional storytelling.
Across the EP, I dive into themes of internal conflict, vulnerability, and the difficult truths we’re often afraid to confront. This project set the foundation for the sonic and emotional universe I continue to build today.
Project Highlights:
Debut 5-track EP establishing the emotional core of the flowerkid project
Breakout single “miss andry”, which earned a Rolling Stone Australia nomination for Best Single
Deep focus on intimate, diaristic lyricism combined with textured alt-pop production
Hands-on involvement in songwriting, production direction, and visual identity
Introduced key themes of self-reflection, duality, and emotional catharsis
What This Project Represents:
This EP marked the beginning of my artistic identity. It showcased my instinct for emotional storytelling and set the tone for the sonic world I’ve continued to refine. “everyone has a breaking point” became the groundwork for a larger narrative. One that I’ve carried into later releases and full-length projects.
