As a creative thinker with a strong passion for storytelling, I love to bring my stories and characters to life through my style, creative writing and world-building techniques.
In this series, I explored the concepts of mental illness and pain and strived to communicate that physically on the body in a world outside of the Garden.
In Red Eyes of Absent Sight, I explored the intense, overwhelming, and toxic force that builds up within, eating us from the inside out. The drawing is meant to capture the moment when we can no longer hold in the monstrosities that take over us.
The illustration Melted Weeping Mistress reflects an experience and state of being drained, empty, and the inability to rise despite the urge to move forward. This piece represents the weight of stillness and the precise moment when we ask ourselves, “What’s the point?”
The third piece, The Imprisoned Poised Rose, examines both the beauty and danger of pursuing an impossible, unreachable standard. The work warns us of a path defined by relentless constraint and unforgiving expectations, where every falter drags us downward to eternal undoing.
